Daytime story – I am a SaaS PS advisor and I hurt my back at the gym, why would you care?
It’s relevant because I wasn’t following my training goals, it’s relevant because I was overdoing it, and it’s relevant because ego sometimes gets in the way. So I pushed too much weight, for too many reps, and – ouch…
Training should usually follow a goal – To be able to work in the garden, or to be more flexible, or to climb the three peaks, or to sprint to the train that is about to leave the platform.
The same as in our jobs – we have clients that need our solutions, we want more clients, we need lower costs, so we deliberately define our goals, and we make plans to meet them. Or – ouch…
