My doubts about absolute truths – if they exist in B2B SaaS delivery frameworks I am yet to find them.
When someone comes waving a new foolproof book at me, and this can be anything from How To Get Rich In 3 Days to Perfect Deliveries Using AI, I tend to be sceptical, but maybe it’s just me.
It doesn’t matter which framework you choose, it will be hard without the basics: Set Goals, Analyse, Execute, Monitor, Repeat. There are no viable shortcuts.
A person that is writing or speaking with absolute conviction has no doubts (we see this a lot these days). No doubts, no questions. No questions, no learning. No learning, no adaptation.
There are many best practices out there, but do they fit you? Can you implement a textbook methodology in your organisation and make it work without adapting it and your organisation?
My view – tune out the influencer noise (and yes, the irony is not lost on me), start by articulating the problem that you want to solve. Only then read the textbooks, pick and choose from your favourite thought leaders, and implement a solution fit for your current and future needs.
